An absolutely amazing experience for us is to receive a wedding back from Joanne, our associate wedding photographer, and get to review the images from an event that we did not shoot – but we get to see a unique story unfold each and every time. Joanne, along with Bart killing it as 2nd shooter captured some amazing shots and intense moments on Brittany & Derek’s wedding at The Hotel Northhampton in Massachusetts.
I could not resist starting this wedding post with the crazy, intensely fun bouquet toss! Great job to Joanne and Bart for not missing a second of the fun, even with beer flying, and still getting right in on the action, that’s how we get it done.
And a great night portrait of Brittany & Derek.

The getting ready.
Totally cute and totally functional, if you have been under a rock, TOMS One for One movement means that for every shoe purchased TOMS Shoes matches it with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. Now, clearly we think that’s just awesome and we just love Brittany’s Bridal White Glitters.
Did you know? (you can read more at TOMS site and on the TOMS blog)
Why Shoes?
Many children in developing countries grow up barefoot. Whether at play, doing chores or going to school, these children are at risk:
•A leading cause of disease in developing countries is soil-transmitted diseases, which can penetrate the skin through bare feet. Wearing shoes can help prevent these diseases, and the long-term physical and cognitive harm they cause.
•Wearing shoes also prevents feet from getting cuts and sores. Not only are these injuries painful, they also are dangerous when wounds become infected.
•Many times children can’t attend school barefoot because shoes are a required part of their uniform. If they don’t have shoes, they don’t go to school. If they don’t receive an education, they don’t have the opportunity to realize their potential.
Love these next two shots that Bart grabbed, this little guy is the CUTE-EST.
